Following their special appearance at the opening for this year’s Revealed Exhibition, the Red Sand Beat Band are back to round out the Sunday Music season.

Travelling all the way from Warburton, the Ngaanyatjarra musicians will perform their laid-back desert reggae. With lyrics about their homelands, the experience of daily life in their communities and keeping their Ngaanyatjarra culture strong, don’t miss this chance to see a band from one of the most remote communities in WA.

They’re joined by Fremantle’s Galloping Foxleys who have had not one but two Sunday Music appearances cancelled this season by bad weather and a snap lockdown. Let’s help them shake off the curse and dance it out with the boisterous seven-piece who are half country, half blues and all fun!

Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy a carefully curated line-up of WA’s best musicians every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s grounds. Due to COVID19 event restrictions, Sunday Music will run a little differently at the moment to keep our visitors, musicians and staff safe. The concerts will take place in the Front Garden with a strictly limited capacity. Once full, guests can sit on other grassy areas in the grounds. We recommend you arrive early and settle in for the afternoon. Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) to this family friendly event, or enjoy tasty treats from the food vendors and bar on-site. Some chairs provided.
