Arts Marketing Coordinator
Permanent part-time (30 hours per week, 4 days)
Salary: $79,203 to $94,186 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% super
This newly-created position, based at Fremantle Arts Centre (FAC), leads, creates and manages communications, media and content which inform and engage the arts audience, represents artists with integrity, and strengthens the arts portfolio’s brand position as one of the foremost multi-arts organisations and programmers in Australia.
The Arts Marketing Coordinator reports to the Audience & Engagement Lead, working closely with the arts leaders and the Audience Engagement team to ensure all marketing, publicity, engagement and attendance objectives are met.
What we are seeking:
- A marketing professional with outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with a range of diverse stakeholders in the private and public sectors and to write copy for programming and publicity purposes.
- Experience in coordinating publicity and media campaigns, including budget preparation and management.
- Experience using website content management systems (preferably WordPress) and strong understanding of performance analysis and reporting
- The ability to create and apply innovative ideas to continually improve processes.

Creative Learning Manager, City of Fremantle
Permanent full-time
Salary: $85,642 – $100,987 per annum + 11.5% super
This position will be based at Fremantle Arts Centre (FAC) and is responsible for the design and delivery of an accessible, diverse and high quality creative learning program for adults and children. The Creative Learning Manager will work in close collaboration with the City’s Creative Programs Lead, the Arts leadership team and industry professionals, and will lead the Creative Learning Team.
The Creative Learning Manager will collaborate with industry creatives and the Creative Learning team to deliver programs to diverse audiences. The role offers a significant opportunity to work within one of Australia’s leading arts organisations, and to contribute to significant public programs of local, national & international standing and relevance.

Finance & Administration Assistant
Permanent part-time (15 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Salary: $63,909 – $74,728 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% super
The Fremantle Arts Centre is seeking a suitably experienced individual to provide efficient and effective financial and administration services across the organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone with sound financial skills and an interest in arts and culture to join a terrific team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and reconciling takings across the organisation including Reception, FOUND Shop, Online program enrolments/Shop, Event bars.
- Preparation of floats
- Set up and manage with the Bar Manager bar operations at events as required (out of hours working)
- Creating purchase orders and processing invoices
- Refunds processing
- Data entry and systems support
The desired applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling and reconciliation.
- Experience in the use of financial accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated data entry and proof-reading skills.
- Highly developed organisational, verbal and written skills with great attention to detail.
