Sydney based Pliable Planes artist Jacqueline Stojanović leads an all ages weaving session to kick off our communal weaving project Social Fabric. Bring along a thread of your own to add into this large collaborative tapestry and leave your trace in the loom!

Uncover some of the stories behind the artworks with UNSW Gallery curator Catherine Woolley. In this tour, the curators will share their knowledge of the themes and ideas seen in the work of exhibiting artists and reflect on recent trends and observations of textiles and fibre practice.

Join exhibition curator Mariaan Pugh and Artist Dionne Hooyberg in conversation as they discuss Special Treat. Drawing together a selection of new works that speak to Dionne’s daily practice of making, Special Treat showcases an exquisite series of ceramic, drawn and textiles work that reappropriate found materials found on the artist’s daily walks
