19 March – The safety and enjoyment of our patrons, staff and artists is always our priority. In light of current government public health recommendations, we have decided to postpone all of our scheduled concerts and performances until further notice.
We will be rescheduling Tim Rogers & Friends: Liquid Nights in Bohemia Heights, with a new date to be announced in the coming weeks.
Your ticket will be valid for the new date so please hold onto it for the time being. If, when the new details are announced, you are unable or unwilling to attend, you will of course be eligible for a full refund at that time.
Your support in holding onto your ticket and attending events while our industry gets back on its feet will greatly help FAC and the network of artists, crew, managers, event staff and others whose livelihoods depend on the arts.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through these unprecedented circumstances. We can’t express enough our gratitude for your support and patronage of Fremantle Arts Centre. We have an amazing community and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.
Jim Cathcart, Director
Fremantle Arts Centre
Join Tim Rogers as the louche DJ of the spectral radio show ‘Liquid Nights In Bohemia Heights’ – a brand-new live show that brings Tim’s Friday afternoon Liquid Lunch radio program out of the Double J studios and onto the stage.
Brimming with live music, interviews and musings it promises to be a thinking person’s theatre and comedy all rolled into one. The WA premiere of Liquid Nights will include performances and interviews with Fremantle power pop legend Dom Mariani (The Stems), lauded local songwriter and star-on-the-rise Carla Geneve and much-loved broadcasting personality Russell Woolf. So… Is it Parkinson? A prairie Home Companion? Maybe Jools Holland? Possibly even the Goon Show? And will the audience be right in the thick of it all? Hopefully all of the above.
Together with the stentorian tones of broadcasting legend, Jonnie Von Goes and live Foley work delivered by Tony Award-nominated sound designer, Russell Goldsmith, Tim will roll out the barrel in the finest apparel.
Liquid Nights In Bohemia Heights features a live band, guest interviews, musical interludes, a pocket radio drama, a live quiz, questionable local sponsors, Poem of the Week, a live call of Western Highlands Cricket Final (now in it’s 34th week), philosophical quandaries, audience participation and continuing hooey and hoopla within the fabled borders of Bohemia Heights.
And of course, music. Sweet, sweet, music.
Come and be part of the radio show you love on Double J, as live as it gets!
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets for all FAC shows from fac.oztix.com.au or an official Oztix retail outlet. Scalped online tickets purchased from a third party may be fraudulent and you may be refused entry.
Presented by Double J and Fremantle Arts Centre.
