Timothy Nelson fuses clever lyricism with unforgettable hooks; the guy has a bit of a reputation for putting out ear worms.
With dozens of songwriting awards under his belt it’s no wonder the versatile Perth songwriter has collaborated with so many artists, including folk artist Liz Stringer and hip hop legend Drapht. But Timothy Nelson’s solo project draws influence from many of the greats from decades ago presenting you with something entirely new, with ample helpings of something familiar.
Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy a carefully curated line-up of WA’s best musicians every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s grounds. Due to COVID19 event restrictions, Sunday Music will run a little differently at the moment to keep our visitors, musicians and staff safe. The concerts will take place in the Front Garden with a strictly limited capacity. Once full, guests can sit on other grassy areas in the grounds. We recommend you arrive early and settle in for the afternoon. Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) to this family friendly event, or enjoy tasty treats from the food vendors and bar on-site. Some chairs provided.
Sunday Music is possible thanks to the ongoing support of Bendigo Bank – Fremantle Community Bank Branch. 2020-21 is the twelfth year of the long-standing partnership. Sunday Music runs every week from October to March.
