Jocelyn’s Baby is the eclectic, ever-changing outfit led by Boorloo-based musician and theatre maker Jess Nyanda Moyle. After releasing their first folk EP ‘Foetus & Fossil’ the solo act evolved into a 4-piece rock iteration with Courtney Hardy on drums, Aaron Graham on bass and Joshua Rospondek on lead guitar. The band give the guts and grit necessary to tell the stories behind Jess’ song writing; humorous, sometimes shattering stories about identity, addiction, existentialism and the potential for healing. Jocelyn’s Baby have been nominated for Best Country Act at the 2022 WAM Awards. Their debut album ‘Are you listening?’ is out now on all streaming platforms.

From the Kalamunda hills hails alt-pop outfit Dolce Blue, a band who have created their own brand of indie-pop that is sweet (Dolce) with a hint of melancholia (Blue). Consisting of primary school friends Daniel Taylor (he/him,) Lachlan Casey (he/him), Brody Honey (he/him), and songwriter/ front-woman Veronica Zurzolo (she/her), the four-piece have an undeniable chemistry bound from years of friendship. The group have a knack for crafting ear-worm melodies with meaningful lyrics, winning over anyone who loves a catchy melody, an honest story, or shreddin’ guitar lick.
