Inventories of Bodies in Movement sees 70 performers from local companies Co3 Youth, DADAA, Tracksuit and WAAPA’s LINK Dance Company collaborate for the first time.

Bringing together dancers and non-dancers, the South Lawn will be a sea of synchronised movement as each performer explores their own ideas of ‘body’ in a mass contemporary dance display.

Choreographed by revered French artist Christine Fricker, Inventories of Bodies in Movement was originally performed in Marseille and has subsequently travelled to nine cities around the world with each production tackling a different theme.

For its Australian premiere, IBM looks at the ideas of islands, the environment and isolation as its inspiration. The program will respond uniquely to FAC’s expansive South Lawn.

There are two performance times:

  • Session 1: 4:30pm
  • Session 2: 5:30pm

Running Time 30 mins
