Majestic songwriting, incredible insight, genuine authenticity.” Americana UK
Organic and holistic folk, this is the wild sound of freedom.” Midwest Record, USA

SHARK & FOX
(Emily-Rose Sarkova NSW & Jaron Freeman-Fox CAN)

An irresistible Australian-Canadian collaboration, with Emily-Rose Sarkova and Jaron Freeman-Fox, that weaves together the shared history of fiddle and accordion music and shape-shifts between tradition and innovation. Their instruments transform from fiddle to fretless guitar, accordion to synthesiser, driven by infectious rhythms of frenetic Bulgarian dances, haunting Appalachian tunes, Swedish polkas, and Irish jigs and reels.

JOEL SALOM NSW & TRISTAN CHIPOLATA UK
Joel Salom’s juggling and mad skills are world-class. He and his robotic dog Erik received the Australia’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer! Joel recently joined The Chipolatas, Fairbridge Festival’s favourite old-school clown pirates over three decades, and will perform some fun sets of awesome frivolity with Tristan ‘Chipolata’.

PETER CAPP NSW

Poet and raconteur, Peter Capp is known across the land for his hilarious poems and yarns that reflect our Aussie culture with humour and pathos. ‘Cappie’ performs his new folklore bush ballad about Fairbridge Festival’s rich 30-year history.
