View Weaving Paper VesselsLearn the art of lino printing; a form of offset printmaking. You will be introduced to the use of an etching press, learn how to carve and print lino, and explore how to create a reduction lino print in this new six-week course led by Bina Butcher. Reduction lino printing is a an exciting challenge where each layer of the image is carved away from the same plate, meaning you cannot go backwards! Have fun going forwards with lino!
Suitable for absolute beginners or for students with some experience in lino printing.

Bina Butcher is a practicing artist based in Perth WA who has a focus on printmaking practices. Her workshops cover everything from printmaking basics such as monoprint, dry point etching, screen printing, embossing and woodcut; to more in-depth processes that can include chine cole', paper lithography, cyanotype, bookbinding and much more.
