View Contemporary Acrylics Studio With Miles CarpenterThis brand new painting course explores the diverse possibilities of a major aspect of contemporary art (with a tradition that stretches back at least 100 years) - Abstraction!
Suitable for all skill levels this course is ideal for anyone who feels like stepping out of the confines of representational painting and gaining a better understanding of abstraction. Be expertly expertly lead you through a series of projects working alongside your tutor Richard Gunning, and create a set of paintings that cover the main approaches to abstraction.
You will learn about the history of Abstract Art and gain a deep understanding of how to harness colour, shape, and form to convey emotion and sensation in painting. The six-week course will end with a mini-exhibition in the beautiful light filled FAC Painting Studio!
