WA Badass Gospel Choir

Formed in 2015 by Abbe May, Ofa Fotu and Joni Hogan, the Badass choir was created as an outlet for the three singers to perform their favourite pop songs together. After myriad performances around Australia, the trio invited in more of WA’s greatest vocalist and band fronting personalities, with Grace Barbe, Queency, Tara John, Tina Muzondo, Lucy Peach, Tony “Papa” Adams, Alexia Parenzee and Candice Susnjar now joining forces with the original trio to bring more instrumentation and greater harmonic power.
At a WA Badass Gospel Choir event you can expect to hear world class vocalists singing classic pop and soul with some originals to keep things spicy. There will also be a lot of giggling (especially when Abbe and Ofa accidentally make eye contact.

VERONIKKA

Veronikka is a Perth-born, Egyptian-Sudanese singer-songwriter and musician who‘s solace has always been found in music. She utilises music for healing and good vibes. She is a strong believer that the world is in need of healing and she believes music has always been the best antidote for stagnation.

Veronikka has been running community jam seshes (PeepTheCulture) to promote connection to one’s soul and encourage flowstate sounds that accommodates a space for vulnerability, expression and healing. Despite her undeniable passion she knows she has a lot more knowledge and growth to acquire but in the meantime she just wants to do what she loves by sharing her passion and progression with whoever wants to join in her journey.
