Due to the public’s concern relating to Coronavirus and in the light of the Federal Government’s ban on gatherings of more than 500 people coming into effect, we have decided to cancel the remainder of the Sunday Music season.
Thanks for all your wonderful support this season and we look forward to seeing you back at the next Sunday Music in October 2020.
Thanks again to the Bendigo Bank Fremantle Community Bank Branch for their long standing support which makes the whole series possible.
Fremantle’s favourite country-blues rockers Tom Fisher and the Layabouts are known for their heartfelt song writing, high energy live performances and excellent musicianship. The band evokes a Southern rock vibe similar to 70s era Stones, Tom Petty and Steve Earle with some traditional blues tied in.
They’re joined on the bill by up and coming band Joan and the Giants (WA). This alt-pop four-piece have cultivated an emotionally raw sound – their music is poetic, fiercely powerful yet ambient, with booming drums and soaring vocals.
Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy the best local and touring bands every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s Front Garden. Bring a rug and picnic to this family friendly event, or enjoy wood fired pizzas and drinks from our bar. Some chairs provided.
