Lucy Peach is a folk singer from Fremantle. Inspired by Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, her menstrual cycle and her convict ancestors, she has released two EPs: Wax and Wane (2011) and Silver Tongue (2016). She’s mid-way through recording her debut album Blood Magic.

Peach’s songwriting and live presence have won the approval of fellow musicians and industry alike. Sharing stages in Australia and overseas with the eclectic likes of Tim Finn, The Waifs, Mama Kin, The Cat Empire, Boy and Bear, Xavier Rudd and All Our Exes Live in Texas – confirms this local darling as a world class act to be reckoned with.

For Sunday Music, she’ll be performing with an award-winning band including Tara John – keys and vocals, Luke Dux – guitar, John Brown – bass and Daniel Harrison – drums.

Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy a carefully curated line-up of WA’s best musicians every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s grounds. Due to COVID19 event restrictions, Sunday Music will run a little differently at the moment to keep our visitors, musicians and staff safe. The concerts will take place in the Front Garden with a strictly limited capacity. Once full, guests can sit on other grassy areas in the grounds. We recommend you arrive early and settle in for the afternoon. Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) to this family friendly event, or enjoy tasty treats from the food vendors and bar on-site. Some chairs provided.
