Introducing Perth’s GunFu, a dynamic instrumental group that seamlessly blends the eclectic talents of Benjamin Witt, Ben Vanderwal, Harry Mitchell, Marc Earley and Sean Little. This powerhouse ensemble comes together to create a unique musical experience, fusing jazz, West African, Cuban and experimental elements into a harmonious tapestry of sound.

As Gun Fu unveils its debut record, audiences can expect a musical journey that transcends genres, weaving together intricate compositions, improvisational brilliance, and a shared passion of musical exploration.

BUTTER

On a fateful night in 2017, Butter emerged from the melting pot of the Fremantle music scene. Soon, distinctly wonky rhythms began to spread from dimly lit jam-rooms to stages across Australia.

Butter is a 7 piece neo-soul collective from Fremantle, with a contagious energy and a big infectious sound. Noir NYC style horns pair with baritone vocals in a churned up buttery blend. Modern boom-bap drums and bass make Butter ‘delicious to the taste’.
