To celebrate the sounds of the Indian Ocean, Afrotropik Records, Perth’s finest purveyors of Afro and Island sounds, have put together a supergroup of musicians from the region.

In a special one-off performance to coincide with the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial, the Creole All Stars will feature Grace Barbe (Seychelles), Soukouss Internationale’s Quentin Thony (Reunion Island), Mahamudo Selimane (Mozambique), Jamie Searle (UK). Hardy Perrine (Mauritius) and more special musical guests.

Expect tropical vibes, African rhythms and a lot of dancing!

Sunday Music is FAC’s beloved flagship music program, presenting free weekly concerts every week for six months of the year from October to March. Enjoy a carefully curated line up of the best local and touring musicians every weekend under the trees in FAC’s stunning Front Garden.

The quality of the acts is perfectly complemented by the relaxed, family friendly atmosphere which makes Sunday Music a staple of summer in Fremantle. We recommend you arrive early and settle in for the afternoon. Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) or enjoy tasty treats from the food vendors and bar on-site. Some chairs provided.

Sunday Music is possible thanks to the ongoing support of Bendigo Bank – Fremantle Community Bank Branch.
