Due to the public’s concern relating to Coronavirus and in the light of the Federal Government’s ban on gatherings of more than 500 people coming into effect, we have decided to cancel the remainder of the Sunday Music season.

Colab is WA’s longest running monthly freestyle hip hop night, held at The Moon Cafe on the second and fourth Sunday of every month. It features the city’s finest lyricists backed by an eclectic band of Perth talent. Eschewing the antagonistic testosterone-laden MC Battle format, Colab is a freewheeling sonic experiment in interaction, spontaneity and in-the-present collaboration.

Joining Colab, 6-piece soul act Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics are super tight, dynamic and have earned a reputation as one of the best live shows in WA. The band aren’t strangers to life’s lessons and heartbreak. Entwined with a pervasive thread of social commentary, their songs are brutally honest and tell a personal story of love and life through soul-filled heavy groove.

Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy the best local and touring bands every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s Front Garden. Bring a rug and picnic to this family friendly event, or enjoy wood fired pizzas and drinks from our bar. Some chairs provided.
