Acclaimed singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Cecilia Brandolini blends celestial piano and vocals, spouting rhythmic and emotional art that is as evocative as it is catchy. Performing with a five-piece band, she will have you clapping and singing along in no time.
Green Pools are an alt-folk five piece that deliver detailed arrangements balancing dark, indie noir and sunny, uplifting folk. Inspired by the unusual, stark arrangements of Alt-J and with Lianne Lavas’ smooth honeyed vocals, Green Pools have become a mainstay on the Fremantle music circuit and released their singles, Neighbourhood Hero, Middle Eye and Mystery Charmer in 2019. They are currently finishing their self-titled EP that will be released in 2021.
Sunday Music is FAC’s free weekly live music program. Enjoy a carefully curated line-up of WA’s best musicians every weekend in the beautiful setting of FAC’s grounds. Due to COVID19 event restrictions, Sunday Music will run a little differently at the moment to keep our visitors, musicians and staff safe. The concerts will take place in the Front Garden with a strictly limited capacity. Once full, guests can sit on other grassy areas in the grounds. We recommend you arrive early and settle in for the afternoon. Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) to this family friendly event, or enjoy tasty treats from the food vendors and bar on-site. Some chairs provided.
