Andrew Winton is known for his on-stage warmth, humour, and stellar musicianship. He is also recognised for his diverse musical styles with influences ranging through blues & roots, folk, jazz, gospel, funk & country/bluegrass. He continues to attract audiences overseas and at home with his incredible lap slide playing and unique collaborative instrument designs. Andrew has toured Australia & internationally numerous times, and was named the Australian Songwriter of the Year 2012 by the Australian Songwriter’s Association in conjunction with APRA.
Trevor Jalla fronts the Perth-born, Singapore-based universal blues band (aka ublues), with whom he performed at the Barcelona Blues Festival (Spain, 2007), International Blues Challenge and BB King’s Club (Memphis, USA), Buddy Guy’s Legends (Chicago, USA), Byron Bay Blues & Roots Music Festival (NSW, Australia), No Black Tie (KL, Malaysia) as well as Blues at Bridgetown and the Perth Blues Club in Western Australia. Other career highlights include jamming with Robben Ford (Singapore, 2004), The Holmes Brothers (UbluesFest 2002) and with the Enrico Crivellaro Trio, (feat. Alberto Marsico and Gio Rossi), Finis Tasby (USA),and with Natalie Gillespie supporting Diesel aka Mark Lizotte, and recently, performing at the inaugural Miri International Jazz Festival (Malaysia).
