The Abyss of Belonging
Taster One of a Three-Part Series.
Taster One of a Three-Part Series is more than addressing / illuminating the story of misunderstandings, isolation, feelings of no-where-to-belong, robbed of heritage. Shame has been amplified, dismissed, and supplemented. Through story, movement, and meditation our hope is to gently move through the mist and generate curiosity, wonderment, and new energy into the now future, thus creating new story.
Please bring a hat and water bottle.
No previous experience necessary. Morning tea is provided.
‘A gentle revitalising experience’ – Delphine, previous participant.

Sylvia Marina
An experienced Trauma Recovery Practitioner / Educator / Mentor, from birth Sylvia lived in foster care and when her first marriage collapsed, she began serious work to “find her truth’. Seeking her birth family, to physically place her name, her children’s, and grandchildren’s name in the maternal and paternal family tree. From early awareness she was familiar of the grandmother energy, women she never knew but she carried their DNA, and in her womb the seed of her grandchildren. She cannot change the past, but she can create a different future for herself and her family…and she has.
