There Once Was… Step into a world of nursery rhymes.

Development Showing

Through a series of projection mapped objects, artist Rachael Woodward creates an enchanting installation of miniature moments. Discover the old woman who lived in a shoe, step inside Thumbelina’s flower home, lie back and watch the man in the moon and delight as small nursery rhyme characters go about their everyday business. Designed for children and adults to gently explore together, remember the rhymes as they are brought to life before your eyes.

During a 3-month residency at Fremantle Arts Centre, artist Rachael Woodward has developed an exhibition inspired by nursery rhymes of her childhood. This is a development showing to test ideas and see how audiences interact with the exhibition. There will be a short survey at the end of the exhibition where we will be asking for your feedback.
