9 Apr: This event has been rescheduled until Thu 13 May 2021 due to the illness of a band member.
Please read the statement from Spacey Jane:
“We’re so gutted to announce that we need to postpone the shows scheduled for tonight and tomorrow at Fremantle Arts Centre due to illness. Caleb has completely lost his voice & after an emergency meeting with throat specialists in Perth this morning, the advice is that he needs to rest to reduce the risk of any permanent damage. We’ve never had to call off a show like this before – it’s heartbreaking to do and we’re so, so sorry.
Luckily, we’ve managed to find new dates for the shows on May 12 & 13. We hope you can hold onto your tickets and celebrate the end of the tour with us then, but if those don’t work for you please contact Oztix for information on refunds.
love spacies <3″
If you have a ticket for this show it will be valid for the new date Thu 13 May. You do not need to do anything.
If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled date, please request a refund by 11:59pm Wed 5 May 2021.
It’s a brand new year and Spacey Jane are gearing up to make things a little brighter by taking their debut album Sunlight on a huge tour around Australia.
With numerous shows across the country planned, cancelled, rescheduled and cancelled again in 2020, the Fremantle four piece are keen to head around the country once more.
They’ve kicked off 2021 with a big bang, taking out the #2 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown with Booster Seat. Three more tracks from Sunlight made the countdown, with Weightless at #81, Straightfaced at #28 and Skin placing #15 marking a momentous and celebratory day for the band.
Released in June last year, Sunlight reached #2 on the ARIA charts and was voted Album of the Year in the triple j Listener’s Poll.
The band are stoked to finally be taking the full album on a national tour:
“We’re so excited to finally have the opportunity to play these songs on the road! It’s been a long time since we’ve managed to tour Australia, and we’re all rearing to go!
These will be our biggest shows to date, in venues we’ve only dreamed of playing – see you out there ❤”
*Please note, given the recent WA lockdown announcement and the uncertainty around holding live events at this time this show will only go ahead if State and Federal Government regulations allow. As a WA-based band, Spacey Jane can’t wait to bring this tour to their hometown fans, but only when it’s safe to do so*
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets for all FAC shows from fac.oztix.com.au. Scalped online tickets purchased from a third party may be fraudulent and you may be refused entry.
