Five-time platinum artist, Ruel, live in concert this April at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

Secret Sounds is excited to announce Ruel’s hugely anticipated ‘4TH WALL’ Australia and New Zealand tour.

Ruel is both a seasoned international performer and record-breaking musician. Since making his debut in 2017 (when he was just fourteen), the London-born, Sydney raised artist has fast become one of his generation’s most influential musicians. With over 2 billion global streams and 1.2 million Instagram followers, the pop sensation holds groundbreaking records as the youngest artist ever to win Breakthrough Artist at the ARIA Awards and as the youngest musician to sell out the Sydney Opera House… twice.

Ruel has caught the attention of the industry’s most respected individuals, with icon Elton John and musical tastemaker Zane Lowe, both championing his career developments. Ruel has shared stages with Khalid and Shawn Mendes in addition to collaborations with Denzel Curry, JVKE, Omar Apollo and Cosmo’s Midnight.

4TH WALL

April will see Ruel bring his long-awaited debut album, 4TH WALL, to stages across the country. The album was executively produced by M-Phazes (Khalid, Noah Cyrus, Remi Wolf). Originally heading down a Pop/R&B lane, the pandemic acted as a major personal and professional catalyst for Ruel, leading to his decision to forge his own creative direction and expand his musical horizons. As a result, 4TH WALL evokes a matured sound and elevated lyricism, bending between euphoric and contemplative realms of pop.

Ruel has treated audiences to a taster of the forthcoming record with the beautifully emotive ballad MUST BE NICE. The track adds to an already striking list of releases from Ruel, including the dancefloor anthem, GROWING UP IS _____, dream-like LET THE GRASS GROW and the poignant social and personal observations of YOU AGAINST YOURSELF.

Three EPs deep (READY, FREE TIME and BRIGHT LIGHTS, RED EYES), the time is well and truly nigh for 4TH WALL to take flight. Ruel is ready to reignite his position as one of the world’s most exciting artists when he takes to stages across the country in April. With three sold-out world tours already to his name, fans are encouraged to jump on tickets quickly.

This event is All Ages (minors must be accompanied by a Guardian 25 years or older).
