Join us in the galleries to celebrate the last week of the 2021 Fremantle Art Centre Print Award with an evening of learnings, conversations, song and dance.

Kicking off at 6pm, hear from finalists in this year’s award as they discuss their works and practices before joining us in song and dance as we raise our voices in an evening of Karaoke, inspired by Beth Ferialdi’s highly commended work I’ve Been Meaning To Give You These, 2020.

I’ve Been Meaning To Give You These is a homage to mixtapes of yesteryear. Piecing together hand cut paper from music and pop culture magazines from the 1990s and early 2000s, the work intricately collages together the aesthetic of the hand-curated cassette tape. Pulling together songs of love, longing and heartache, for this one-night-only iteration, raise your voice amongst friends and fellow print lovers as we celebrate the dexterity and emotive power of contemporary printmaking.
