In Everything is Everything Sami presents a series of works that in their use of materials (discarded household paint, pegboards, plywood), title or structure relate to known forms which have a connection with domestic space.

The Painting Machine series (2003 – ongoing) in a continuation of the idea of functionality as the allusion to something mechanical in the title speaks of production and efficiency. Here we are faced with the proposition of an object that supposedly has a logical and specific function – a machine that produces paintings.

The notion of a machine that produces paintings has a very democratic slant and significantly shows that questions on the role of the artist are dealt with a heavy dose of irony.
