ANNOUNCING AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR EXHIBITION SPACE AT MOORES BUIDLING ART SPACE DURING 2025 AND 2026 EXHIBITION SEASONS

The City of Fremantle seeks to promote both emerging and established contemporary artists by fostering the development of an experimental and innovative exhibition program at Moores Building Art Space.

We are proud to announce that the walls at Moores Building Art Space have been given a sleek new treatment that is designed to protect the rustic patina of the existing heritage walls.

The Moores building is a raw and rustic space with open ceiling cavities and distinctive heritage features, now enhanced by a new wall build. The unique architecture offers artists renewed opportunity to consider the particularities of MBAS heritage space in their exhibition proposal.

We welcome proposals from individual artists, groups, and organisations across ALL artforms for exhibitions within the gallery. We strongly encourage artists from First Nations, CALD, LGBTQIA+ and disability communities with practices across disciplines to contact us.

The Fremantle Arts Centre manages Moores Building Art Space.
