Greg Miller is a Cabinetmaker/Joiner, with a lifetime of experience working with wood and working with people.
While he loves working on old and heritage buildings, his real passion is teaching traditional woodworking hand skills and techniques to people of all ages, which he has been doing now for over 12 years.
He learnt much of these traditional skills from his father, Doug Miller, who had begun his Carpentry/Joinery apprenticeship in 1945. Greg was inspired by local indigenous artists to get into woodcarving while living in Arnhem Land in the mid-1980’s. His interest in pre-industrial woodworking received a big boost when he went to the USA for a couple of months in 2013 to learn Green Woodworking skills.
Greg loves old tools, old skills, and sharing the joy of hand tool woodworking with others.
