Established contemporary Jeweller and designer, Alida Cappelletta has based her practice in Perth, Western Australia after studying and working as a Contemporary Jeweller in Sydney for fifteen years.

After graduating from Sydney College of the Arts in Jewellery and Metal, Alida also studied at RMIT in Gold and Silver Smithing. With a painting background major from Curtin University she has harmoniously fused her various technical skills and knowledge to create beautifully crafted designs.

Alida has always been fascinated in finding the balance between nature’s organic yet complex forms and geometrical landscape structures that she constantly encounters. Incorporating vivid colours, highly textured surfaces and repetitive forms is fundamental to her approach when developing a new range. She finds pleasure in discovering and experimenting with new ways to fabricate desirable wearable pieces in a contemporary way.
