Watercolours for Beginners to Intermediates with Rodney Sinclair

Are you a complete beginner when it comes to painting with watercolours, or are you looking to extend your skills in watercolour painting? This course is designed for beginner and intermedate watercolourists. You will learn the basics of watercolour techniques and build on your skills from there in a beautiful light-filled studio environment. Be guided step-by-step with weekly demonstrations and exercises to get you familiar with this wonderful medium and extend your skills under the tutledge of Rodney Sinclair.

What to bring:-

  • Watercolour paints (Cotman, Art Spectrum, Windsor & Newton) - 1 tube of each colour -  Cadmium Yellow Pale, Alizarin Crimson, Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre, Sepia
  • Mixing tray/palette
  • Brushes - No. 3 & No. 12 round nylon brush
  • Pencil 2B and Kneadable Eraser
  • Watercolour paper 300gsm Cold Press A4 or larger
  • Water jar/container
  • Masking tape 25mm
  • Tissues
  • Further materials may be required throughout the course
