Coming Soon

About the class

Add creativity to your weekends with this six-week creative writing workshop!
Each week, you'll explore writing prompts and exercises designed for both fiction and non-fiction writers.
After extended writing time, you'll have the opportunity to share your work with the group for positive, constructive feedback.
The workshop will be enhanced with brief readings and discussions on key topics such as theme, genre, narrative voice/point of view, character/dialogue, setting/description, plot/conflict, action/pace, and endings.
Perfect for intermediate and advanced writers looking to refine their craft and expand their storytelling skills.

Prerequisites

Some experience with creative writing is preferred.

What to bring

  •  Bring your own paper and pens, and a laptop or tablet.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.

Other Additional Needs
