Self-Exploration Through Creative Play: Creativity and the Brain (NEW!) with Robyn Varpins

Get to know yourself a little better in this new one day workshop designed and led by Robyn Varpins. This art therapy workshop is designed to help you create an artwork which represents something that delights you, while you have a lot of fun and relax exploring the technique of collage.

In this hands-on making workshop you will create an artwork of something that delights you using abstract, symbolic or stylised imagery. Browse through a range of paper and materials provided (or bring your own!). You will have fun cutting, tearing, and gluing images, colourful papers, and other exciting materials, creating a truly unique masterpiece!

At the beginning of the session we will discuss the central theme for the workshop, which will help guide your creativity. The theme explored in this workshop will be 'Three Ways of Thinking'. Topics explored will include conscious, subconscious, and unconscious brainwaves, understanding your intutition, and the joy of unexpected outcomes.

Perfect for beginners through to advanced students. No experience necessary, you will develop skills in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Any advanced students will be encouraged to explore composition, texture, and colour in new ways!
