This course is designed for students with some clay experience. Using handbuilding, wheel throwing or casting techniques, gain a deeper understanding of ceramic materials. Design your own porcelain projects while being mentored through the term. Choose areas of specific interest to focus on, such as refining shapes and decorative skills, improving throwing skills, developing glazes and application as well as experimenting with new techniques.


  •  A materials & firing fee is included in the cost of the course

What to bring:-

  • Apron
  • Notebook & pen
  • An old towel
  • FAC provides 1 x bag of clay per student, students will be required to purchase further clay if needed
  • Closed footwear and appropriate clothing to be worn
