About the class

Explore the beauty of porcelain clay and develop your hand-building skills with the pinch and coil methods in this engaging six-week course. You’ll create functional or decorative pieces like bowls, cups, small vessels, and sculptures by joining pinched vessels.

Beginners are welcome, as skills will be taught throughout the course. Intermediate and advanced students will also have the opportunity to refine their techniques and assist one another.

In this course, you’ll learn to enhance your work with marbling, inlay techniques, and speckled surfaces using coloured clays. The course will cover both glazing and polishing techniques to bring your pieces to life.
