Explore ways of constructing functional and sculptural objects with clay. Using three classical methods of handbuilding – pinch, coil and slab – develop your understanding of clay forming and joining techniques. Learn how to colour clays for marbled, applied or inlay effects. Works will then be glazed and polished to enhance surfaces.

What to bring:-
- Notebook & pen
- An old towel
- FAC provides 1 x bag of clay per student, students will be required to purchase further clay if needed
- Closed footwear and appropriate clothing to be worn
