Porcelain Pinch Pots – The Gentle Art of Handbuilding NEW

Develop your understanding of clay through forming and joining techniques using pinch and coil methods of handbuilding. Create small functional or decorative bowls, cups, vases or sculptural pieces. Experiment with coloured clays, granular oxides and surface finishing techniques such as glazing and polishing.

•  A materials & firing fee is included in the cost of the course

What to bring:-

• Apron
• Notebook & pen
• An old towel
• 20-30ltr lidded container (to store work)
• Textured objects to press into clay e.g. lace, seed pods, shells, stamps etc
• FAC provides 1 x bag of clay per student, students will be required to purchase further clay if needed
• Closed footwear and appropriate clothing to be worn
