Dive into the creative world of Gelli Printing, a fun and accessible form of monoprinting that doesn’t require a press!
In this two-session workshop, beginners will experiment with a variety of materials—like botanicals, found objects, and reusable items—to create unique prints. You’ll learn to layer images, creating both positive and negative effects.
Plus, you’ll explore fun techniques like laser transfers and making your own stencils to add even more creativity to your designs.
Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to try something fresh, this relaxed, hands-on class is the perfect introduction to Gelli Printing!

Tutor Vanessa Lombardo

Vanessa Lombardo is a visual artist based in Boorloo Perth. Vanessa uses varied techniques developed over her years of practice including pen and ink, copper etching, screen printing, painting, collage, and digital printing. She has a fascination with the natural world. Through her art making she investigates human interaction, adoration, and decimation of indigenous fauna and flora.
