About the class

Explore the vibrant and expressive medium of soft pastels in this hands-on course. Soft pastels offer a unique way to create rich, textured artworks with their vivid colours and versatile application. In this class, you'll learn essential techniques such as blending, layering, and creating depth, while working on a variety of projects to enhance your skills.

This course is suitable for both beginners and intermediate students, with personalised guidance to help you develop your pastel technique and artistic expression. You’ll have the opportunity to explore different ways to use pastels, whether you're creating detailed drawings or bold, impressionistic pieces.
Please note that this course focuses on soft pastels. While it’s not an oil pastels class, you’re welcome to bring oil pastels along if you'd like to experiment.
