An introduction to drawing as a past time, for people who have always wanted to give it a go. Meet artist Joss Gregson and be amazed as she takes you through the very basics of drawing, with an introduction to the materials involved in drawing and demonstrations on how to use them. You’ll begin with line, before moving on to explore tone, form, depth, and so much more! Come along and enjoy experiencing how much you can learn in a weekend in the Arts Centre's light filled studio!

Materials:-

• A fee for paper and charcoal is included in the cost of the course

What to bring:-

• 2B & 4B graphite pencils
• Kneadable and plastic eraser
• Drawing pen e.g., Artline .04
• Visual Diary (for notes and the possibility of drawing outside the studio)
• We recommend bringing your own lunch (our onsite coffee cart can be very busy on the weekends)
