About the class

This course focuses on traditional Western and Eastern hand-building methods to create larger vessels.

Over the term, you’ll explore various techniques and develop your skills as you shape a beautiful pot. With one-on-one instruction from Mel Ellero, you'll be guided through the process in a relaxed and friendly environment, ideal for both beginners and those with some experience.
Whether you're new to clay or looking to expand your knowledge, this class provides the perfect space for creativity and learning.

Prerequisites

• Some experience with clay is helpful, but not essential.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
