Cloisonné Enamelling

Jill Parnell begint

Explore cloisonné enamelling, the distinctive art of decorating metal. Coloured glass is applied to golf and silver foil to create beautiful designs and features. Create your own small pendant or earrings using this ancient technique.

What to bring:-

  • Notebook
  • Coloured pencils
  • Fine brush (size 3/0)
  • Empty film cannisters (or similar)
  • Small spatula, eg. pottery tool with with a spoon
  • Dental probe or needle in a cork
  • Students must wear closed-toe shoes for safety reasons
  • We recommend bringing your own lunch as the café can be very busy during peak periods

COVID-19 Response:

FAC has implemented a number of cleaning and safety measures to ensure our students’ wellbeing. Social distancing will be observed in the studios and course content has been adapted to suit new safety guidelines. Hand sanitiser will be provided and studios will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each class.
