Chaos To Control: Drawing And Painting For Older Kids with Tania Ferrier

Course Sold Out

Award winning artist Tania Ferrier shares a kids' version of her remarkable technique of finding images through mark making.

Splash on watery acrylic paint and stand back to see what the mind’s eye conjures. Charcoal sticks are used to draw up a loose framework before painting the image. The emphasis is on play, and you'll be surprised by what you find in the marks. Although it starts with chaos, this process teaches you to draw out your idea while balancing the composition, the colour and controlling the outcome.

This longer class will include a lunch break!
