Always wanted to print on fabrics? To create your own textiles to wear, decorate your home and hang on walls? In this course you will be guided through different printing techniques on textiles, from rubber block printing to stencil screen printing. You will learn to design patterns and develop your own projects, small or large scale. Suitable for complete beginners or those wishing to work on their own textile projects and further their skills.
- A materials fee is included in the cost of the course which covers screenprint inks and consumables
What to bring:-
- Sketchbook (A4)
- Pencil, eraser, sharpener.
- 2 x pieces of Ezy-Carve (Jacksons)
- 1 x pack of Linocut tools (Oxlades/Jacksons)
- Fabric & items to print on to will be discussed in the first class
FAC has implemented a number of cleaning and safety measures to ensure our students’ wellbeing. Social distancing will be observed in the studios and course content has been adapted to suit new safety guidelines. Hand sanitiser will be provided and studios will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each class.
