Take your jewellery-making to the next level in this course designed for students with prior experience. Under the guidance of expert jeweller Kate Sale, you’ll refine and expand your technical skills while working on personal projects.
Learn advanced techniques, explore new materials, and gain confidence in your craftsmanship through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice.
This course is ideal for those who have completed a beginner jewellery class and are looking to build on their existing knowledge in a supportive and creative environment.

- Any jewellery-making tools you have
- Materials for personal projects (to be discussed in class)
- Should you need, Bezel Ring Kits are available to purchase for $20 through reception at the Fremantle Arts Centre. These will be available throughout the term.
Prerequisites
- Completion of a beginner jewellery course or equivalent experience.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

Tutor Kate Sale
Kate studied Jewellery at NMIT in Melbourne. She enjoys using traditionally taught jewellery techniques but pushes the boundaries to create modern, unique and very colourful pieces.
