With the support of our official partner, Community Bank – Fremantle – Bendigo Bank, FAC is excited to announce the fourth Show Time in our series of ongoing free creative programs for families, inspired by the current exhibition Perth Festival 2025: Kate Mitchell | Idea Induction - Fremantle Arts Centre!

Join us for a fun and creative full day workshop where children (ages 5–12) and their guardians will design and create their very own Plush Up inspired by Kate's Patch Ups!

Start by drawing a special figure—one that feels like love, makes you feel safe, gives you super strength or represents a feeling or idea you'd like to be able to carry with you wherever you go.

Then, with a little magic (and some fabric, stuffing, and simple sewing), you'll transform your drawing into a soft plushie to take home.

But this isn’t just any toy—your Plush Up will be a symbol of what you want more of in your life, whether it’s courage, comfort, joy or any kind of inspiration you can imagine!

No sewing experience needed—just bring your imagination!

Enrolment is essential for this workshop, with limited places available ten families to spend the day with Kate Mitchell and create their own artwork to take home and out into the world with them.
