Hello, and thank you for your interest in applying for Fremantle Arts Centre's Bazaar Christmas Market!
Bazaar is Western Australia’s most loved Christmas market and takes place within FAC’s beautiful grounds. Bazaar presents the highest calibre of WA-designed wares, from crafts and homewares to fashion, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, woodwork, toys, prints, stationery and more.
Bazaar Incubator Program
FAC is committed to supporting emerging artists in all that we do. This year we are bringing back the Bazaar Incubator Program, offering five emerging makers in the first five years of their practice the opportunity to participate in the market with subsidised stallholder fees and support. Please note, the stall commission fee is not applied to Incubator stalls.

TIMELINE
- Fri 19 July: Applications open
- 11:59pm AWST Sun 18 August: Applications close. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Fri 14 September 2024: Applicants advised of outcome
This year Bazaar will run from 29 November - 1 December, opening with a 5–9pm twilight session on Friday, continuing 9am–5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Applications must be accompanied by images of your work and some written material about your business and what you create.
- Please do not only provide links to websites as examples of your work. We need to see specific images please.
- Physical samples will not be accepted as part of your application. Please do not mail or deliver samples to FAC as they will not be judged.
- The quality of your application and the examples of work that you submit will have a direct bearing on your application. Any information you can provide about why you're a great fit for Bazaar will help to inform the selection panel's decision.
- A selection panel of FAC staff and craft and design sector representatives will select the stallholders for Bazaar.
- The panel's decision is final and will consider each application against the following criteria:
Overall quality of products
Design and execution
Originality and uniqueness
Made/designed in Western Australia
Balance of final selection - Only stallholders with exclusively WA-designed material will be selected.
- Proof that your work bears a strong connection to WA may be requested.
- FAC reserved the right to reject applications on the basis of this criteria.
- FAC takes a 20% +GST (22% total) commission on all sales. Stall fees apply. See below for rates.
- Card-present payments from Square transactions will incur a 1.9% fee which will be payable by the stallholder.
- All stallholders must abide by FAC's sales protocols and hold their own public liability insurance.
- Stall signage is supplied by Fremantle Arts Centre unless by special arrangement.
