Since 1976, the Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award has welcomed entries from artists and makers across the country in any print medium. From artists books to print series, in traditional and contemporary mediums, the FAC Print Award welcomes entries that challenge the norms of print making and display innovation, technical excellence and rigorous conceptual investigation.
Celebrating the diversity and multiplicity of print, the FAC Print Award is now recognised as one of Australia’s most prestigious art awards.
Established and emerging artists are presented in the Award exhibition, which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Prizes are awarded in acquisitive and non-acquisitive categories, including the $12,000 prize which sees works acquired by the City of Fremantle Art Collection, one of the top municipal collections in the state.
