Refund and Transfer Policy

A full refund will be given to students if the course they are enrolled in is cancelled by Fremantle Arts Centre due to under enrolment or otherwise. Notice of the cancellation of a course will be given approximately 4 days before the commencement of the course.

If you are unable to attend a course, notice must be given at least 5 days before the commencement of the course to receive a credit note to the value of the course less a 20% administration fee.

There will be no refunds or transfers given for absences from classes.

Course Cancellation

Fremantle Arts Centre has the right to cancel a course due to under enrolment. The decision to cancel a course is made at least 4 days before the commencement of the course and notice will be given to students via email or phone contact.

Fremantle Arts Centre has the right to make changes to any course, course time, course location or tutor of the course before or during the course. In the unlikely event that these changes are made, no refund or credit will be given for the scheduled course.

Heatseeker Events Terms and Conditions 

REFUNDS/RETURNS/EXCHANGE/CANCELLATION POLICY
i) A change in the personal circumstances of the purchaser does not entitle the purchaser to return or exchange the ticket.
ii) If an event is cancelled due to adverse weather or for any other cause reasonably outside the promoter’s control there is no right to a refund or exchange and the promoter is not obliged to arrange a substitute service, event or performance. The cancellation policy in these circumstances is at the discretion of the promoter.
iii) The promoter reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, vary advertised performance times, seating arrangements and audience capacity, and refuse admission with reasonable cause.
iv) No warranty is given nor representation made regarding the view of the stage or stages.

ENTRY, BEHAVIOUR and AGE POLICY
i) Permitted items vary from event to event depending on style and layout. Please check www.heatseeker.com.au for event specific terms and conditions to avoid confusion.
ii) Chairs, eskies, large blankets, beanbags and other large items are not permitted into the venue. Please consider other people’s comfort and space as well as your own.
iii) Any item deemed to be dangerous, hazardous, intimidating or offensive to patrons will not be allowed into the event. This will include but is not limited to items such as water and food containers, pineapples, boats, spears, large bags, crocodiles, glass, gang colours, steel toecaps, umbrellas and animals.
iv) Professional still cameras, video cameras, tape recorders and iPads are not permitted at this event.
v) The seller reserves the right to conduct body and bag searches of all ticket holders.
vi) Any patron engaging in behaviour deemed to be dangerous, hazardous, intimidating or offensive to other patrons will be ejected from the event immediately with no right to refund or exchange. This will include but is not limited to running, throwing objects; aggression and crowd surfing.
vii) This ticket is sold subject to the conditions on this ticket and any additional conditions displayed at the entry to the event.
viii) Minors are permitted to attend events at Fremantle Arts Centre if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. MAXIMUM OF TWO minors per parent or legal guardian. All minors must hold a valid ticket.
ix) Where an event is licensed, or has licensed areas, official Australian 18+ photo identification will be required for entry (driver’s license, passport). Any patron refused admission due to inappropriate identification has no right to any refund or exchange.
x) Patrons under the age of 18 attempting to enter any licensed areas by way of force, stealth or false identification will be ejected from the event immediately with no right to any refund or exchange.
xi) Whilst every precaution has been taken to ensure the event area is a safe environment, you enter the site at your own risk and undertake to notify venue staff of any hazards or dangerous situations that you notice while on site.
xii) PASSOUTS ARE NOT PERMITTED due to the sensitive residential location of the venue. We appreciate your support in this matter and ask that you respect our neighbours when leaving the venue.
xii) Fremantle Arts Centre is a smoke free venue. Smoking is only permitted in a small designated area near the main toilet block.

FOOD/DRINK POLICY
i) Small amounts of soft wrapped food and sealed or empty soft plastic water bottles may be brought into the event.
ii) Respectfully priced food and beverages and both bottled and free water will be available at the event.
